Following a goal to support local organizations and businesses , Crow Farm opened its doors to host a packed room United Way of Kent County event. Present were United Way supporters, Board Members and representatives of four new member agencies of the United Way. The event featured Crow Vineyard Manager, Brandon Hoy, and Brooke Schumann Winemaker, who presented wine selections and a discussion of the upcoming introduction of wines from the farm using Crow Farm's first vineyard harvest. Grass-fed beef recipes from the farm and an array of delicious local artisan foods including the cheese selections from the newly opened cheese gourmet shop in Middeltown, Delaware, Fromage were on hand and heartily enjoyed.
Crow Farm plans to offer wine tastings at the Fromage gourmet venue. And the Middeltown Shop represents a CSA delivery location for monthly beef packages from Crow Farm. The Middletown shop is one of several partner venues for Crow Farm. Cantwell’s Tavern in Odessa, Delaware has burgers made from Crow Farm beef on their menu and on the western shore, Victoria’s Fancy Foods of Severna Park sells Crow Farm beef in their grocery store.
The good word of mouth continues re the food fantastic events at Crow Farm and where you can buy their delicious farm-raised beef.
