Choose from 3 bedrooms, each with a private bath in our newly renovated energy efficient 1847 farm house. Enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring regional cuisine with home-cooked flair. Relax in the guest parlor, sit under the old maple trees and watch the animals, play horse shoes, or take a walk to the 2 acre pond - enjoy a picnic lunch under the willow trees. Guests can request a packed lunch or dinner for additional cost. In our home we have Babe, a Labrador Retriever, and Curious, a Calico Cat.

Things to Do

We are only a 20 minute drive to Rock Hall, with beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay, 10 minutes to hiking at Sassafras Natural Resource Conservation Area, or try clay shooting at Hopkins Game Farm. Dinner can be found 10 to 15 minutes away. There are 8 restaurants in Chestertown that offer fine or casual dining. Just north of our farm is Galena known for antique shopping. Right around the corner from us is Molly's Mart which features a store for sportsman, gas and convenience goods and a wonderful restaurant. Still close...spend an evening overlooking the Sassafras River with dinner at the Kitty Knight House or the Granary. We are on the Chesapeake Wine Trail and 25 minutes away from 2 local wineries.
